Chawton House (Part-1), The Home of Captain Edward Knight

An original early issue of Country Life Magazine dated February 2nd 1945 featuring a main article on Chawton House in Hampshire (Part-1), The Home of Captain Edward Knight, the house was built in 1585 by John Knight and enlarged about 1655 by Sir Richard Knight. Four page write up with black and white illustrations of the house interior, decor, exterior and grounds. This issue is in good condition, with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs. Richard Keynes.
