Downton Castle, The Seat of Mr C. A. Rouse-Broughton-Knight

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated July the 14th 1917 featuring a main article on Downton Castle in Herefordshire. With a six page write up containign black and white illustrations of the castle (exterior and gardens, interior, furnishings and paintings). This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Ellison Macartney.
